Rainy night in Zurich 1555 #Zurich#watercolour#ateliersie#rain#city#painting#rainynightinZurich#irishpainter#painter#water#limmat#church#sky#skyline#cityscape#irishart#swissart#schweiz#suisse#art The words of my one of my many heroes come to mind. These are the words from the great Louis Kahn. " The sun never knew how strong it was until it hit the side of a building". This building is a ruin, the infamous ruin of Blackrock, Galway. It is an old fishermans cottage. This cottage is overlooked on a daily basis by hundreds. I see the beauty in this everyday. I often wonder, if buildings could talk, what stories would they tell?
