This is what I wrote when I first painted this oil on canvas.
“Me, an artist, not really. I paint to unwind, reflect and … So If in doubt, paint. Paint nature as nature never folds. Be at one with nature. Be with the scent, the colours, the textures, the changing temperatures but most of all observe the light and the effect of it on nature. …..” and it goes on.
True, except for the part when I said I wasn’t an artist. What defines an artist? Well, according to Oxford Dictionaries an artist is a person who creates paintings or drawings as a profession or hobby. So, I suppose I am an artist.
